I have 25+ years of photography experience, 20+ years of Photoshop experience. My technical expertise is with lighting, posing, editing and developing a story. My images may look candid, but I develop that through posing, interaction, connection, lighting, developing the story, and editing the finishing product to be a beautiful piece of art. My Approach
If you’re coming to me through a headshot referral, then you already know how different this shoot is from what’s offered elsewhere. This isn’t a factory. I’m invested in every session I take, and I’m passionate about making images that are unique, personal, and expressive.
My hope is that the environment in my session allows actors / clients to feel unhurried, free to collaborate, to express themselves, and to challenge themselves to make a headshot with a point of view that’s distinctly their own. I want each photo to intrigue the viewer and evoke something of both your own character and of the characters you’re interested in portraying, to feel personal. At the same time, I want each headshot to use color, light, and expression to distinguish itself from a stack of images in a casting office, or from a gallery of online thumbnails.
